So how does a collective reach a self?

A group with no body and no voice still gets inside a person. The route is not mysterious, and it does not need anybody’s permission.

This cohort is not distinguished by having had a technology. It is distinguished by which lines moved.

It is distinguished by position: a childhood on one side of its arrival and an adulthood on the other.

Nobody after them has that, and nobody long before them does either.
