The foundation
Five theories.
Each was built independently, answering its own question without borrowing from any other — and found to connect only when held together.
- Who we areControlism
A person is three things. Outside forces shape the body and mind. The self governs them. Its strength is the whole game.
- What we are bound toConnections
At every instant you hold four connections — body, mind, self, time and space. One per type. You are never connected to nothing.
- When we areMoments
A moment is a configuration held still. It lasts as long as none of the four connections change. The clock is a tool. The moment is the thing.
- How we operateTwo Systems
Everything you do comes through urges or choices. You govern choices. You are only ever aware of urges. Neither is better. The right one for the moment is.
- What condition we live withinThe States
The self reads its four connections and responds. That response is the state you live inside. Thirteen positions, and home is wherever you have been living, whether you chose it or not.
These pages carry the shape of the five, not the argument for them. Every word on them is already published somewhere here — on the front page, in the glossary, in the questions or in the Reports. The work they are quarried from is sealed.
